Upcoming Design – Robbie Cooper April 22nd, 2009

Inspired by @gayadesign on twitter, I’ve have decided that all designs I work on will be posted here for criticisms and review by other web developers/designers on twitter.

Below is a screenshot of a concept for a local musician, Robbie Cooper, that I am in the process of developing.  What do you guys think? Criticise! Suggest! Compliment! Enrage me!  Anything goes.

    Thanks for the mention. Got some great feedback on my design through this.

    My two cents are:
    The overall looks of this layout is cool. Love the black&white theme.
    1. I think the logo looks strangely aligned compared to the menu. It’s a fine logo, maybe move it up a little.
    2. I like the out of box feeling!
    3. Maybe you can let the upcoming shows bar go a bit over the right edge for a more out of the box idea.
    4. Don’t be shy with the background. Let it fade out later, it looks cool.
